Best Time to Visit Prague: Weather, Crowds, and Prices

Best Time to Visit Prague

Prague is beautiful year-round, but the best time depends on what you value most: mild weather, fewer crowds, or the best deals.

Spring (March–May)

Comfortable temperatures and blooming parks—great for walking tours.

Summer (June–August)

Longest days and lively atmosphere, but also peak crowds and higher prices.

Fall (September–November)

A favorite for many travelers: pleasant weather, fewer tour groups, and golden light.

Winter (December–February)

Christmas markets are magical. Expect colder days and shorter daylight, but excellent value outside holiday weeks.

If you tell us your travel dates, we’ll recommend the best neighborhoods and day trips for that season.
